Local Application Scanning (Filenado)

When you use our Filenado application with Ollama integration, the app may perform local scanning of your Ollama installation to detect available models. This scanning happens entirely on your local machine.

  • Scans are performed locally to populate UI menus with your available Ollama models
  • No data from these scans is transmitted back to SuperBasic Studio
  • Model information remains entirely on your device
  • This feature only activates if you have Ollama installed
  • You maintain complete control over your local Ollama installation

This local scanning is solely for the purpose of enhancing your user experience by automatically detecting and displaying your available models within the application interface.

Device Performance Monitoring

Some of our applications may access device performance metrics such as RAM usage and CPU statistics to provide real-time performance feedback within the application interface. This data is used solely for display purposes and is never transmitted to our servers.

What Performance Data We May Access

  • RAM/Memory usage statistics
  • CPU utilization percentages
  • Available system resources
  • Performance metrics relevant to app functionality

Your Privacy is Protected

  • We do not track, store, or transmit this data to any servers
  • No performance data is used for advertising or user profiling
  • This data is not shared with any third parties
  • You always have the option to disable performance monitoring in app settings

Important: Applications like Filenado store user preferences (including the choice to disable performance monitoring) in browser local storage only. This means if you switch browsers or devices, you will need to reapply your preference settings. We chose local storage over cloud sync specifically to respect your privacy - your settings never leave your device.
